Will you be ready to go to Anne Arundel Community College when Fall rolls around? We can help!
Step 1: Get Ready for the Accuplacer
Students are required to participate in placement testing prior to course selection at AACC. The Accuplacer test is used to determine the correct levels of Math and English students will need to take in their first year.
Students whose SAT or ACT scores meet the minimum requirements (for details, visit aacc.edu/testing) are exempt from the Accuplacer requirement.
Accpulacer Prep is MANDATORY and must be completed prior to testing. To complete the requirement online, visit: aacc.edu/testing to view the Placement Prep Video.
Upon completion, print out the certificate and bring it to the test session.
Step 2: Complete the enrollment process
Students must enroll at AACC to get a student ID number and set up their myaacc account
AACC Online Application for Enrollment
Step 3: Participate in placement testing
If your SAT scores do not meet the minimum requirements, you MUST take the Accuplacer. Juniors entering the Early College Access Program (ECAP) should expect to take only the English portion of the exam. Current Seniors already in ECAP must take the Math portion. Students with NO prior AACC experience will take both English and Math (see exceptions above)
Tuesday, March 28
starting at 12:05pm
