Summer Band Camp Information

As part of the High School Band Program, students are exposed to many high quality instrumental ensembles that help broaden skills. Marching Band and Color Guard (the non-instrumental, visual side of marching band) performs at all home football games, school pep rallies, community parades, at the Tournament of Bands and in marching band competitions.

SRHS Summer Band Camp TBA (see specific instructions below). Camp fee is $TBA per student. The program is a Day Camp, with activities held Monday through Friday over the course of two weeks. During camp, students work on music playing skills, build teamwork, and learn collaboration in preparation for the fall competition season. Snacks and drinks are provided, with lunch orders provided on select days (students brown bag or bring their own lunch on all other days). Policies are in place to ensure all participants work in a safe and fun learning environment.

*Band Camp is mandatory for all students who wish to participate in fall performances. Our Directors require at least one (1) week of participation in our camp to satisfy attendance.*
