Communications Technology I & II
This is a 1-credit course that develops skills and knowledge in the use of information and communication technology. Course topics include: history of communication, graphic arts design, screen printing, digital photography, corporate & desktop publishing, radio & television production, computer graphics & imaging, wireless and satellite communications. Prerequisites: FOT A & B or POE
Foundations of Technology A & B
This is a 1-credit course that explores the history of technology and its impacts. It heps students develop an understanding of the relationships among techn ologies and the connections with other fields of study. The engineering design process is also applied to effectively solve various problems by systemic means. Nine core fields of technology will be explored through instruction and hands-on project work. Students will also learn how to use “system thinking” to research, examine data, evaluate inferences and make predictions
