National Honor Society

The National Honor Society recognizes scholarship, service, character and leadership.  

Member selection occurs in the spring through teacher nominations of sophomore and junior students.  Candidates must complete the application process in order to be considered for membership.

Activities include such community service programs as food drives and helping out at the Anne Arundel County Food Bank, volunteering at other community-sponsored events, a costume party and the annual movie night.  Members also offer tutoring services in the Media Center during NEST, serve as ushers at student events on campus and sponsor the annual Breakfast with Santa program for young children.
