The Little Seahawks Preschool is a developmental school program for four and five year old children. The program is an integral part of the high school child development course of study. The primary purpose of the course is to provide instruction and training for the high school students in the development, care, and instruction of preschool age children.  Under the direction of the child development teacher, our goal is to provide a quality program to meet the developmental needs of preschool children.

We offer lessons which are developmentally appropriate that incorporate Connect4Learning and Real Math/Building Block curriculum into daily activities.  Lessons taught promote growth of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development. The long range goal is to promote school readiness for kindergarten.

The school year begins at the end of October and runs through May. Classes meet three days a week and follow the Anne Arundel County Public Schools calendar. We accept children that are four years of age by September 1. The class is limited to 12 students and there is currently a multi-year waiting list for new children.
